Tony the Scammer: Lately, he's been trying his hand at fake check scamming. He'll place an order for some really expensive products, then get one of his sleazy Nigerian pals to send the merchant a forged check for more than the agreed-upon purchase price. His goal is to con his victims into refunding the difference, before they realize that there are no funds backing the flimsy slip of paper they have in hand.
Of course, moron Anthony has no clue what kind of mechandise he should feign interest in buying. Posing as Peter Udoh of the "Chidex Fast Food Restaurant," he's been shopping for electronic fingerprint recognition machines from the People's Republic of China. The company he's planning to rip off bases makes most of its money selling to the local secret police; in other words, Tony is trying to rip off a firm that is intimately entwined with the members of a dangerous security service. But there's more! The other Nigerian scammers should hate him too, because there's nothing he loves more than stealing their victims. It used to be that when a crook wanted a fake diplomat located out in Indonesia, he turned to Kingsley Enendu. However, since Kingsley's own triumphant apppearance on the Pillory, the guy has pretty much curled up in a fetal position on the back seat of his rented sedan to bawl his eyes out. So Anthony swooped in to take over his jobs. In fact, he's discovered that stealing marks is much easier than cultivating his own. He'll be in hot water if his countrymen find out about this underhanded chicanery. It's almost like there's no honor among thieves! Tony, icon of pathos: His family's not doing so swell either. He sent this message to Chinwe: My dear i had a bad day, do u know my brother at home , the one i told u have tooth ach, he is dead. my inlaw called me yesterday and informed me, they have buried him yesterday. Let's hope Tony has better oral hygiene practices than his relatives back in Nigeria. Maybe if he weren't a total loser, sucking away all the family income, he could afford to send some antiseptic mouthwash back home. Tony has lots of friends. At least, there are lots of crooks who consider him a friend. How wrong they are!
