Of course, he was afraid to give his real name or admit that he was male -- because like all scammers, he is a coward. Solomon claimed to be a lady nicknamed "Cutelips". He boasted that he scammed someone out of $100. He added "...there are lots u dont know. i am the Don here." He is wrong on both counts!

There is PLENTY we know about this nineteen-year-old scammer from Lagos... and we are about to teach him a little lesson that we like to call "Pillory 101." Let's give the "Don" a front row seat in our virtual lecture hall and check our study guides, shall we?

Psychology:
Solomon Osikheame Kanabe is a low-life scammer who pretends to be a girl and preys on the lonely through his romance scams. His victims know him as "Cutelips4u" or "Vicky" or "Victoria Kanabe" or "Grace Kanabe" or "Rita." Solomon must be a closet transexual! To his fellow scammers, Solomon is known as "Solite" or "Solo"... a.k.a "Solomon Patricks Kanabe". Using his real family name, Kanabe, to conduct scams is proof that he is mentally retarded. "Victoria Kanabe" is actually the name of his sister. Using her name shows that Solomon secretly want her to suffer for his crimes. Scam 1: A fake online buyer or seller of products: Victims are contacted by "Kanabe." He either sends a fake check with the help of another scammer, or uses a stolen credit card to make a purchase... or he tricks the victim into sending him money for an item he claims to be selling.

Scam 2: Charity. "Kanabe" sends out emails claiming to be collecting funds for orphaned children in Africa.

Scam 3: Romance. The victim is contacted by Solomon, who pretends to be a model called "Victoria" or "Sally" or "Rita"... . Or a victim sees "Victoria's" or "Cutelips'" profile at an online dating site. When they contact him, Solomon tricks the victim into sending money. He builds a relationship through instant messaging and email; then he lies and cheats till he has stolen every last penny from them. Maybe Solomon should warn his victims to wear knee pads and shin guards -- since one of his photos looks suspiciously like Tonya Harding!

Mathematics:
At age 19, Solo has already robbed between 300 and 400 victims. He has also stolen hundreds of credit card numbers -- which have now been reported to the credit card companies.

History:
Solomon learned how to do the romance scam from Emeka Igbokwe. Let's review one of Emeka's lessons. Solomon had hooked a victim, but he didn't know how to make him pay money: (the victim's name has been changed to "Bob" to protect his identity)

Kanabe is an arrogant low-life scum who has failed to do anything but rip off anyone he contacts. By pretending to be a girl and breaking the hearts of his victims, he is revealed as a shameless criminal. This stupid teenager boasted he was the "Don of scamming." As punishment, we have arranged for him to lose all his email accounts, all his victims, and all his credit cards. Those dating sites where he claims to be a model will soon learn the truth about him. Will he learn his lesson? Probably not. But we'll be keeping an eye on this problem student.
